This is what we had all of last year. These pics were taken Mar 03, 2009. Right now I have about 6-8" and only have 91miles on my sled. The most we have had since it started to snow was 18". We had 5-5 feet last year all winter. This seems to be the worse winter I have ever seen here since I can ever remember... It's raining right now and has only snowed 5" in the last 25days. At this point I'm not sure I will ever get back out.... I think this is the worst winter Ontario has ever seen. I live in Northern Ontario, this should not happen. This sucks...
where about are you

Sault Ste. Marie....

were planning a trip in the elliot lake, manitoulin island area but i guess there isnt much snow there also, the sault is an awesome place to ride, was there once a long time ago, want to go back maybe next year,i was just curious as how far north you were, thanks

Yep, the groomed trail is 3 miles from my house....

Pouring here in Maine. Trails out my door were just coming together.... not good......

Its not the economy the sled industry got to worry about, its low-snow seasons.Look what happen in the early 1980s(Kawi,J.deere,etc).

snow

Ha you guys should be so lucky with all the development in central MAss our trail system is basically gone in the 70s-80s we rode everywhere. Now forget it the developers and tree huggers have won. Besides we don't get much snow now. We have been hauling the sleds 4-7hrs north every time we ride for years it's just the way it is get used to it.

How is the UP holding up?

Da' UP got pounded this weekend. :o|

Warm and windy on Saturday...and poured buckets all day Sunday.

We rode north of Seney Saturday, and the trails were in pretty poor condition....I'm sure the rain really did them in.

All of the plowed road shoulders are completely bare, and the lakes are turning to slush.

Even some bare ground showing up in the farm fields.

Sleds are not up for sale......................yet!

Moved up from CapeCod Ma. to Northern NH to get into lot's of snow and peace and quiet with freedom's.
Both are disapearing as I speak..Seems to follow me. Others have the same Ideas. Still better then living down there.

in pembroke ontario canada our winter has been good, (trails have been open since december but there is the odd one closed).............. untill thismorning, its raining and like 5 degrees celcuis

We just got a about 8 inches or more, but in my home town Nipawin they got about 2 1/2 feet. Can't wait to get out and ride only have 200 miles on this year due to no snow.

Yea. The 07 Phazer GT is mine. So is the 08 Nytro.

I was getting pretty depressed myself. Northern Manitoba and the trails were not even groomed yet, only about 8 inches of snow. It was shaping up to be the worst year ever and I was loosing interest....Then this weekend we got around 20 inches, things are looking real good now. Good to go. It only takes one good snow fall to turn it all around
