I have been waiting since last week for the dealer to setup my xtx. Call him today and he said the sled is ready to go but....... the instrument cluster was never sent with the sled. So through some calls and warranty and such .... my instrument cluster is on its way ... WTF .... and we have enough snow to ride ... I am having a hard time waiting anymore ..... :die

Sounds fishy, hope you don't have a dealer that robbed yours to put on another sled that was damaged............ (have seen that happen once)

That is uncomprehensable!!! All I can say is "I hope this model is above and beyond what we expected" Then it will all be worth it

I know it's been said before but :) before you do paper work ask to look it over from front bumper to the back bumper .
I do know some of the Cat guys had some problems it them not working right . Some can't get it to set the clock and stuff so maybe it was bad and they just want it right

Do they start the sleds before shipping and wouldn't the cluster be on for that?

One sled has a little problem and now it every sled .......come on ! Give it a rest !

It will be just fine !
On my nytro the upper a-arm bolt fell out at 70 mph and it should have been totaled but they fix it ... So the quality of Yamaha isn't the best !

This sounds awfully strange to me! I don't want to call your dealer a liar, but I have a hard time believing that even AC would ship out a sled with no gauge cluster. My thinking is probably it was either damaged in shipping, or at the dealer while they were uncrating the sled. Or possible stolen off the machine while in transit. Prob a pretty pricey piece for sure. Anyway, I'm sure all will be fine soon with your machine and hey we can all share in your pain of not having a sled yet because all US customers sleds are STILL held up in shipping.

Nope said sled ran fine without the gadge but that I would prob want it when I picked it up.... Uuuuummmm yup. Oh well the waiting continues.

Looks like some of you guys missed the LOL part. I cann,t imagine a Yamaha was actually received with a missing gauge. Sounds like the dealer didn,t think that reason thru very well before passing it on to you.

Now that's a cluster f>>>> right there lol no pune entended, wtf is going on at cat,no cluster REALLY!!! WOW how can you over look this!
