Went for a ride today. Trails where awesome but roads are turning to gravel a sure sign that soon it will be over. Hope the weather holds for one more week as I have a few day trips planned for the week of the 19th.
Groomer was out and did a great job. Damn Beaver gave me a surprise though!

Believe it or not I got out my collapsable saw and started cutting on the tree on the right side of the trail and the beaver kept working on the other side. It was only when I moved over to its side that it clicked its teeth at me a few times and slowly moved away.
So I cut the limbs off the tree and tossed them beside its water entrance. The logs I piled beside the trail. Not the first time I've had to cut up a tree a beaver dropped on the trail. First time I had help though!

Ya and its hard from a day of rain on 6 inches of fresh snow. Got real warm here and everything started to melt. Now we are back into the cold again for the next 5 days anyway.
Want to do a day run to Kenora and back. Maybe go all the way to Falcon Lake and back depending on the time. 300 miles to Falcon and back close to half of that is lake running so you can make good time. Kenora and back is maybe 210 or so.
K I'll put in the word for ya with Yamamama!
They are still grooming some of the trails up here, Mr. Magoo, Co Pilot and myself rode last weekend..........Woodridge, Marchand, South Voyager, Vaser & South Juntion. The trails were SWEET
Had time to ride every night last week and this week so far, out having some fun before THE FUN IS OVER
