I'm no clutch expert but it looks like maybe you did'nt wind it all the way? if you have done it before you probably know this but it almost takes 2 people to reset. if it just fell into place that way it is not right. just trying to help maybe an expert will chime in.

I am also not an expert but it looks like the spring is rotated/clocked the wrong direction. Try rotating the opposite direction and see if that helps.

I find it best to put the clutch onto the jackshaft and then twist the helix clockwise onto the posts for pretension. Are you sure you have the spring installed in the correct holes on both sheaves?

Do you know the spring hole positions and the twist angle specs for your sled? I have an 07 Attak and my spring hole positions are 3 for the fixed sheave and 3 for the spring seat with a twist angle spec is 60 degrees. I think yours are probably the same. I noticed your spring is in hole 6 of the spring seat. What hole is the spring in on the fixed sheave?

Info from RX1/Apex manual below

Twist Angle = (sheave hole number + spring seat hole number) x 10

Twist angle:
60 Degrees (RX10, RX10S, RX10R, RX10RS)
70 Degrees (RX10M, RX10MS)

Standard spring position:
3-3 (RX10, RX10S, RX10R, RX10RS)
1-6 (RX10M, RX10MS)

This is from the old RX1 manual - I think the sleds with "M" were mountain sleds.

Your twist angle is either 60 or 70 degrees (I think it is probably 60). If it is 70 degrees - you are currently in hole 6 on the spring seat, you would need to be in hole 1 on the fixed sheave per the above formula. Either this or you need to be in hole 3 on both.

Hope this helps.

You need to go to the next ramp. From free/unwound With the movable shiv tight counter clockwise you need to always wind to the next ramp (clockwise wirh the cam).
