Remember, elevation will effect this entire clutching process, although it looks like most everyone is lower elevation.
I have my sled (MTX) set for 4000-6500 feet above sea level. When I am in this range I see about 9,000 RPM +/- When I was in Yellowstone last week, I saw about 8,800 +/-
The lower your elevation, on stock weights and rivets, the higher your revs will be. That is why mtn guys are cautious about over reving at sea level with a sled clutched for the mountains. There are areas where you start at 1500 feet above sea level and climb to 8,000 feet above sea level.
Just a thought on small variances on what people see for RPM's.

The biggest difference I'm seeing with the extra tip weight is fuel mileage. I was running about the same as an RX1 that I run with. Now I'm seeing about a 10 to 15% improvement. Haven't really noticed any difference in performance.
