I have a 2006 Apex ER, will the stock 70 pitch chain work with the 23 tooth top sprocket or do I need to go to a 68 pitch ? My Mechanic is worried about chain stretch when I get some more miles on it. I am studded.

Don't have a lot of miles on mine, but I belive the Attack comes stock with the 23t gear and a 70 link chain

YES..70 link is what you use with 23/38 gearing..most on this site have done this mod..23 works well.
22/38(07RTX) needs a new chain to go to a 23...as it comes stock with 22/38 and 68chain,it needs a 70 as its going larger.

I have the 23 in my rtx, just installed it, 2000mi on stock gearing and 200mi since the swap. everything seems good. I would keep a close eye on the tension as with any chaincase.
