What did i do?

He had enough acetone to dissolve the paint on the spring. Anyways I am out on this one, use acetone where rubber and plastic or not your call.
We dont know that. He made it sound more like the paint was rubbed off. You think he Acetoned the belt itself? That might make it like glue.

Allyammis, did you get this fixed, curious of the outcome and what you found!!

I keep coming back to see the out come of this.

Not yet worked on it yesterday trying to beat the snow melt. There is a bit of play in the secondary bushing not sure if that is causing the binding, going to the dealer this morning to order one.

That bushing would not cause the problems your'e having, but not a bad thought. I would like to see a pic of the secondary assembled just so we could verify correct assembly... Did you ever lift the rear end of the sled and give the track a turn ? That would rule out all the drive line bearings and chain case. From your description of whats going on with the sled it should be a very obvious problem.

Yes tell me about it,track rolls fine.Well good thing I have not gone to buy that bushing yet.

Something happened when you took it apart to clean it, either when you reinstalled the helix the bushing galled in the helix or wasn't straight in tightening it down or something. It sounds that it worked fine before you took it apart and now it won't shift (stuck)?

Still have your stock helix? Put your stock helix back on just to try it, that will tell you if it's in the helix or in the clutch.
