What does it take to get into grass racing?

Just curious what it takes to get into grass drag racing?

#1) What type of mods to the sled

#2) Where to find events, any certifcations, etc? Located in North Iowa

It would be nice to get more use out of the RX and with 100 shot of nitrous thinking it would be a lot of fun to race to! Thanks!

I'd like to know also. I'm imagining that the setup is much like an asphalt setup. Correct me if I'm wrong.

it all depends on what class you want to race there are different rules for different classes.If you are even thinking of racing I suggest you get a isr book with all the rules.It as rules for all forms of racing.
There is a bunch here that can give you advice on set up's but like I said it all depends on the class.

Kinger you can run in many backyard events and independent races.

how do I get a ISR rule book? They don't have a web site, I hope their rules are more up to date than their marketing

Yes the new year books are always up to date.I believ srxspec can get them.
