Simmons.
Pilot is skidoo's mythical "upgrade" that they're using to hide the fact that they have been ordered to cease production of precision due to patent violation against Simmons. Precision skis are a POOR copy with too shallow of a tunnel and insufficient width. They push real bad through corners with any loose snow.

No go on the URL. How did you survive the weather this weekend?
As far as the Pilot ski's, no one will have any real experience just yet since they just came out. As for the precision ski, I would stay away from them. I have not tried them as of yet, however even the ski-doo guys could not get them off thier sleds fast enough. They have a rather large push when compaired to a standard ski. I have the simmons on my 05 Warrior and feel they are a decent ski, however they too lack some cornering performance. I still feel that the CnA's are the best trail performance ski out there. I would like try the Pilot ski's at some point. They look like they may offer the best of both worlds.

Anybody tried the new ski-doo wandering fix?
Its called the Proactive Control System part #860703700 and cost $22.47. I was told by a Yamaha rep that they will work on the stock Yamaha skis. they are supposed to reduce darting. I ordered a pair and just got them in. Now I need to screw them on and see if they do anything. I will post a report if they work.

I had those..they used to be called PCS Easy Steers...yes they will reduce darting but they also push like crazy in the corners becuase you lose alot of bite from the wider surface. What you gain from the darting fix you will lose in the "bite" of the ski.RX-Kid said:Its called the Proactive Control System part #860703700 and cost $22.47. Rx-Kid,
Those easy steers really suck. They take all the feel out of the steering and do push like crazy. You can get the darting out with the stock skis if you tune the sled right and put some spacers in the rear of the ski bump stops as suggested on this site. Or, go get some Simmons and be done with darting forever.

They also will increase steering effort. I would not recommend using them.
