Hi!
My friend dimebag gave me an Innovation AFR gauge kit for christmas!!
So now I wonder what manual boost controller I should go with.
Dimebag is using a Voodoo controller, it works great but you have to loosen a set nut in order to adjust the pressure which basically isnt a problem but I dont want to mess around with a little wrench everytime I want to adjust the pressure.
It would be cool to have one where you just twist a knob and leave it there.
Like this for example:

Problem here is that you use the soft spring up to 5psi, and then the stiff above 5 psi. Which means that it wount be suitable for me since I will be running between 4-6 PSI, atleast thats what I think.
Here is the type that dimebag uses:

Cheap and all, but I do not like the lock nut. Am I just being a jerk?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLOX-Racing-Man ... 09&vxp=mtr
The one above is self locking but it also comes with two different springs and it doesnt say what pressures each spring is made for.
Here is one that might be OK:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/GrimmSpeed-Univ ... c2&vxp=mtr
Since I am as skeptical as I am, since it has such a wide band of adjustment, can it be in accurate at lower pressures?
I guess all these adjusters are ment to be installed in a nice environment engine compartment in a car, wonder if they can freeze up and stop working on a snowmobile?
What are you guys running?
