It seems everyone is on the 14.5mm clutch roller bandwagon. I went from 16.5mm to 15mm a few years back and was amazed at how much stronger my sled felt.
This year I decided if 15mm was good 14.5mm must be even better. I bought a set put them in and never looked back.
I know with smaller rollers the clutch weights are supposed to act heavier than they actually are. They can wrap around the roller quicker and have a more dramatic effect on clutching.
I don't have Olev Aaen's clutch tuning handbook so I have to ask what is the downside of going to smaller clutch rollers? Is the clutch backshift affected?
