Recently changed my track. I took a measurement from locknut to headbolt on adjuster. Put sled back together and now the chain seems a little loose. What is the proper way to adjust the tension? Thanks rich

i have found finger tight to be too tight, so i back bolt off about 1/8 to 1/4 turn, then tighten locknut. had my chaincase get cooking hot on a ride one time, and i had just adjusted it the previous evening.i backed it off a bit and problem went away. the next time the case cover is off, check chain tension and move adjuster with your fingers, this will give you a better idea of how tight it is.

How much is a touch? 1/4, 1/2 turn.
