I think you'll have alot of fun on that sled. Not an everyday trail machine, but they manage fine. Get ice scratchers if they aren't already installed. NB requires you to trail to get to good boondocking, and they are absolutely necessary or you'll smoke slides repeatedly.
And if we get a winter like the last 3 before last year, you will have a riot. I was absolutely shocked at how well they boondock in powder. We had one epic day last March, just before the big melt, where it had dumped like 70cm's of bottomless fluff over 4 days. We headed out north of Governers, I was on my 153 Nytro and my buddy on a 144 x 1.5 same. Even though he is a much better powder rider than I am, his 144 could only manage to follow unless the trail was almost flat and we had to get his sled unstuck like 20 times. The 153 just stayed on top and simply went everywhere. Up, down, side hill, anything.....Crazy fun.
Now to find enough time in the off season to find more trails and mountians cuts to climb and boondock next winter ....gotta love Google Earth!
