What pilot skis are the best?
1. The older ones with a skeg on both outer sides and a concave center
2.The ones that came after that, with one skeg in the middle and one on the outer edge?
3. Or the new one with one skeg in the middle?

both outer are precisions, go with 4 " on outer and 6" on middle

Yes, the older ones with concave center are " precision skis". Go with the dual skeg Pilot Ski 6" centre carbide and 4" outer carbide. Depending on your sled, you might want to consider the wider 6.9 pilots over the 5.7 pilots, if you're riding a long track.
