Bolts are an option but remember you don't have to use the same holes, it looks to me like the middle bracket for sure you can put two or three rivets, and the end ones you have to decide if there is enough meat left to put another small hole beside it. Good rivets are plenty strong enough, looks like the tunnel failed.LOL Reduce those ice blocks.
gitrdun any tricks on reducing the ice blocks lol...
I have same sled with same cooler, made me go check my rivets when I seen HUNT 24/7 post, I just did a 2000km trip in northern Ontario and the ice build up was crazy, I've never seen a sled build ice like the nytro...
I keep certain areas where ice builds up the most under my tunnel polished, it really helps a lot, I just forgot to polish it this year.

So many people have the tunnel block off plates, and ROOSTER is a big fan of the crazy carpet. Search, Tunnel Block Off Plate, and Icing Issue Solution.

I have had minimal buildup with a 30 X 15 3/4 alum blockoff plate(on the XTX), with blueskin on the sides. I don't recommend the blueskin(helps a bit,but probably will never be able to get it off). If I wanted to improve on that, next project would be to put good stiff crazy carpet on the 30 X 15 alum, held on with as few large thin washers as possible(I think the little flex is what will shed the snow), and crazy carpet on the sides covering the blueskin. On the sides, y
ou can use a cheap hole punch set to cut out where rivets and bolts are, for a nice snug fit.

Ended up using stainless machine screws, washers with lock nuts, I like that I can check to make sure they are tight. Had to grind down the top 4 as I think they would have been pushing up into the fuel tank.
