I,ve got some Simmons that I am going to try. I did not like them on my RX. Has anyone had any luck with a certain ski on an RX-1.

I ran USI PSX and VX on 05 warrrior. Both performed well. PSX more aggressive, VX easier to steer. PSX great off trail because of wider footprint. I'm a bit of a ski freak and have tried SLP and Simmons as well. One of the best ways to fine tune sled handling to your needs is good aftermarket skis and appropriate runners for your application. I recommend calling the ski manufacturer and getting their recommendations for your sled and application. studdog

I am also staying with the stock skis on my Attak. I had great luck with them on my RS Rage. I like to at least try them out before I go aftermarket.

I am trying the stock first. but have a set of simmons & a set of C&A Pros that I'll try during the season.

I had the things on my C&A pros that basically worked like the slydog ski & shaped similer. I never did get the darting out of my M-10 srx.

I have a set of Simmon's that I am going to try......I think the best thing is to get differnt skis than your buddies. Carve your own groove.

Im going to try the stock skis with either 7 or 8 inch carbides...

Mr. sled said that the new sleds handle soooo much better than the 03-05 sleds that he doesnt think too much tinkering will be needed..

Yeah he did say that. and that whole christmas week, I am gonna be stock other than 120 studs and those Bergstrom tripple carbide 6 inchers.
For me I gotta start out stock and get a baseline, otherwise I dont know if my modifications are any good.

I ran SLP Powder Pros on my 04warrior, amazingly kept that heavy front end floating high

How did you like the Powder Pros on the Trails? Was the handling good on both hardpack and loose snow? How about darting. Highly considering these skis. Sold my Simmons with RX1 and didn't like how hard they turned on hardpack. Any info appreciated.
