Ok guys this a loaded question i use to run saber/accord studs on my apexs wrecked tons of wheels we do alot of river running mostly at 100 mph a lot. I would get about 800 miles on the yam spoked wheels before they were gone. I put a iceripper on one of the sleds and a corba on the other ran 4000 miles on the iceripper no wheel problems. My question is what make stud can i put in the corba that will not wreck my wheels, sick of changing wheels 2 years ago yet. Any sug. would be helpfull, oh its a 1.325 corba open window with ext. drivers put a 1000 miles on it laast year with out studs. thanks Jeff

In the past have used Woody's Gold Diggers for 6000 miles with out a problem on the wheels
All it takes is one misaligned stud head to create problems with the wheels

studs

I would prefer 96 all down the middle i never run any on the outside any more. Is there a pattern for 96 without touching the wheels, i have the mono shock sup. Will the 1.375 stud work with the corba i belive it is not the single ply i will look into that first cant remember. thanks Jeff

I there is one I ran it for sometime. But I didn't think 96 was doing the job do to the power of the APEX so I ran 144 donw the middle and it work alot nice. If it is a single ply track they have stud for them from Stud Boys. The cobra is a killer track in the 144"x1.375 gose though every :yam: thing.

Jeff, with the amount of long high mph running that you guy's do your best option other than the ice ripper may be the solid plastic wheel's that came stock on the 05's. The only problem is they gradually wear and get smaller from running on the stud head's, I think i got about 1,500 mi out of them before they were wearing the slide's from losing diameter. The center inner rear wheel's build a lot of heat with long high mph pull's and the stud's also add to the equation. Good luck, Kevin

studs

Hi Kevin the ice ripper is on my red attak , i am looking for my yellow 07 rtx 121 with the newly installed elt. shock mono just got that power coated from Brian looks nice installing as we speak. I put a 1.325 corba on it last year but never studed it, i want to stud it this year but dont want the wheels issue, thinking about studing it and avoiding the 2 inner wheels that allways get chewed up on long river runs. Maybe see at the car show thanks Jeff

Sounds good Jeff. What is the date of that show? If you don't have anything going on next Saturday the eleventh make a trip to open road HarleyDavidson in Fond Du Lac for the Horses and hogs show. I plan to be there. Should be a lot of nice Mustang's and Harley's to look at. Thanks, Kevin
