Hey guys , well i recieved my 13 mm sway bar yesterday from pioneer . the only problem is that i dropped my sled off at the dealer the day before , my dealer is an hour and half north of me and dont plan on getting it until next wednesday on the way to the UP . im going to have and swap it out on the trailer at the hotel . i dont want to bring any tools i dont need , so can you guys tell me what im going to need to do this swap , what sockets and anything else ???

Thank you !!!!

10mm - 14mm wrenches and sockets (I do not recall specifics) You will also need room to slide the bar in and out of the bulk-head if you plan on doing this on or in a trailer. Should take you about 15 - 20 min. at the most, but it will help if you lift the front end up to remove the torsion first.

THANK YOU

thanks 4fighter !!! didnt you soften the front springs at all , if so do you remember how many turns you went ??

Anyway thank you !!! also , my family is from the sault , my mom grew up on the corner of m-29 and 11 mile rd. my aunts and uncles still live up there and they are all on m-29 between 10 and 11 mile rds. , as soon as you guys get some snow ill be up to ride with my cousin ( he just bought a f7 ) and to tell ya the truth back in 1990 i lived up there . i rode with guys like freddy rye , jamie beamish , mike ? but my old girlfriends dad terry smith ( he owns wolverine softwater in kinchloe) broke and made most of those trails before the state or club made them marked trails ...i will pm ya next time im up there >> :-o

Oh yeah, and you should have a stout standard screw-driver in case you need to spread the links.

Yes, you will probably want to do that too. Can't recall what I have my RX-1 set to and don't jam the locking collar too tight either.

Not that you will do much of it this weekend, but carving will be harder with the fatter bar too.

I'm a Yooper by osmosis since '87. Names sound familiar - never met them though. Yes, I do remember riding trails and 2-tracks (Gaines HWY to 15 mile and around the base) before they got heavy into marking/grooming too.

We need snow pretty bad.

Good luck.
