I need a new track, was going to go with the 9830 but some are telling me to just go with the Rip Saw. I would like the 1.25 track but am concerned about studding as i had ratcheting with the old track and do not want to bleed green. Any thought's would be apreciated.
I just ordered a 9833 for my 03 shorty.... (Read my post "What is a good track")...I got some good advice from a few there and went with what seems to be a good choice ....I'll post my feelings after I get a chance to try it. I actually don't think that the rip saw will be any better...(then the factory finger track ) maybe if you are running only on real hard pack. The 9833 is fully clipped and open on all windows….I don’t believe in the theory of open every third to keep snow in….that snow has to get in first…. JD
my self and one of the other rx 1s i ride with are changeing to the 9830 due to the type of rideing that we do that should be you deciding factor. we do a lot of high speed lake rideing over long distance and i like the perforemace that all of the ski doo riders we ride with get out of there 9837s same track only open window
