I'm looking at getting a 16 Ft enclosed trailer and I'm not sure what one to go with.I have looked at Cargo Mate,Pace and Rance(all aluminum).I was going to get a black one but I want to store my snowmoble in it in the summer and I'm not sure if it will be to hot inside.Any info would be appreciated.

black always looks dirty with road salt and stuff, and a white trailor would b cooler in the summer but i dont think it matters if they get warm...? get one with a front door if u can...

I just bought a 22' Rance Lightning very nice trailer for the price. All aluminum had 4 sleds in it and pulled it with chevy avalance handled it great.

Heres my SNO-PRO 10ft that i stored the snowmobiles in since aug(there still in it due to lack off snow :o| ).White stays really cool inside.I wanted a big enclosed trailer but it just too hard to spin around on.This one is shorter and can spin on a dime with the front- tongue jack(came from the factory).$4000taxes in,great deal.

Mine is black and it gets super hot inside in the summer. I wouldn't leave my sled in it all summer. A couple of vents may help out all the same.

I just bought a black HAULIN trailer 20 footer and it fits 4 sleds like a dream. Seems to be a good bang for your buck.

Just a note on the color thing, I have a white 29ft Legend inline. The white does stay cool enough to keep the sleds in all summer, but the semi-metallic brake dust from the truck and trailer brake pads leaves small orange rust spots all over the trailer. Most of them come off but it takes a lot of work, even if you keep it waxed well. I think I would go with a light grey color next time....

Thanks guys for all the feedback.I will be going with a grey or white and aluminum. But any other info about Rance would be appreciated.Thanks.

i have a black Thule 2 place all aluminum - drive on and off w/tool cabinets, helmet rack, plywood walls an stud matts i might be willing to part with.

Thanks for the offer but I live in Newfoundland and that would little costly coming by Canada Post.LOL. But in the mean time how long have you had it and how is holding up?

year and a 1/2. towed it with my navigator w/2 sleds and gear. v-nose cuts thru the air- didn't even know it's back there. if you get one get the full height inside- doesn't sound like a major deal but until you are in there and walking around or changing- you'll understand why i say that.as far as the heat- i just keep the roof vent open a hair.

Yes I have a enclosed trailor just like yours I think it works GREAT!

Why a 16' trailer. Do you run a mountain sled. I would think either go small for 2 sleds, like a 10' or 12'. Or go big for 4 sleds, like a 20'. JMO.
