I'm installing a 9833 Camo on my 03 shorty. This track is fully-clipped. Would it be better to put on Extroverts with the "nubb-drivers", and eliminate the stockers?, Or run the Extros with just the teeth on them, along with the stock drivers?

YES...extroverts are awesome! When I ran my new track on the extroverts last season it stretched out very quickly and ran so loose that the clips would shift side to side on corners and take chunks out of my slider....now that is loose! Never ratcheted once! I have the 9833 and you will love it! I now run my track with about 1.5" of sag...perfect!

Sounds great guys. This track should make a BIG difference over stock POS. track. I'm hearing that when installing the Extros. that I must machine off the tips of the drive teeth so that they will clear the front susp. arm. If so, how much should be removed, and what's the best way? A lathe, maybe? 8)

3/16" minimum on a lathe. While you're at it on the lathe, have both drivers trued. You will be amazed how much they can be out. It should help remove some vibration and harmonic noise. I had mine done 3/16" which is what Hartman specified with the long track kit and they still just kissed the cross shaft.

Thanks, SNOWMAD. I guess a 1/4" is a good # to eliminate any interference at the cross-shaft. This is a fair amount of material to remove. Won't this defeat the effectivness of the drivers somewhat? And should the edges of the teeth be rounded off, after the material is removed? :?: :?:

Does anyone have a list of part numbers and the procedures they used for installing extroverts and a 9833 track. I don't want to buy the wrong ones or machine off too much. Thanks.

I have a set of extroverts that won't fit my mountian. I would sell for $50.00. They are 9 tooth. I need 8 tooth. The guy That ordered them ordered the wrong ones. Then we moved from Montana to Washington before I caught it. These are the ones without the side drivers. If anyone wants them, email me.
thanks
