Hey guys I am planning to change out my right side heat exchanger. Unfortunately I only have 1 day to do this so I need to pre order all the parts before. I am assuming i need multiple rivets and the exchanger but is there anything else I need. Also if anyone has any tips or tricks let me know thanks!

Did mine last year. Wasn't hard at all. I used a air riveter for the new rivets. Worst part was the mess of emptying the antifreeze.

I had the skid out. Don't know if you have to have it out but made it easier as I was in the tunnel grinding off the rivets.

Remove the skid and pull the track under the front of sled out of the way. Grab some extra drill bits same size as rivets. pnuematic riviter priceless (Harbor Frieght cheap). Looks like a big job the first time but really not that bad.

Hey guys I am looking at the same situation this next week--my question is where is the best place to pull a hose from to drain the coolant out of the sled??

I pulled it off heat exchanger at the front and was able to drain into a 5Gal pal without spilling hardly any

I raised the back of the sled and pulled the hose from the front of the cooler that I was changing. I've changed both of mine. Just pull off slowly to control drainage. Place the drain appropriately and u will lose very little 2 the floor.
