I put extroverts and a 151" x 2 1/4" finger track on my sled last season.
I probably made a mistake by resetting my transfer enhancement kit looser than suggested by the instructions. I adjusted the setting by allowing the rear suspension and track to hang freely on my maintenance stand and adjusted the straps to be snug at the point of full rear suspension extension. I thought it made a lot of sense at the time.

As some could hear, my sled ratchets the track like a crazy under full acceleration WITH EXTROVERTS. To remedy this, I now have the tension extremely tight to stop the ratcheting. I think I'm at the point where it almost doesn't make sense to even have extroverts?
I'm thinking I need to go back to the stock setting that came with the MPI kit or maybe one click more to perhaps limit my excessive trasfer/ratcheting. I can't afford to let this ratcheting happen any longer, it's wrecking my extroverts.

Can any of you offer your best settings for the MPI transfer kit?

I got mine set right in the middle where they suggested for a starting point. I'm not understanding the ratchet problems you (or others) are having though. :(

I still have the stock drivers and am running with 1.5" of slack @ 20 lbs of force using a digital fish scale and haven't heard the track ratchet at all. 8)

PB no J,

Mine is adjusted in the stock postition. I have no ratcheting even with the turbo. Unless of course I am cruzing around with a broken H-Arm. :o|

Here I am. I have mine set at 1 hole above normal for more transfer. It works out pretty good and I do not have the extroverts. Maybe you should start out at normal and go from there. Actually you should replace your extroverts and go from there. :D

:D I havent tried the mpi kit yet, I have it in the +1 setting which mountain performance said would be a good starting point , then you can go from there, I wish it was winter so that I can try them out, I also have the extroverts/drivers, I hope this helps! 8)

RX1 forever, I think that's what I'll try as well.

I thought of one other thing that may be causing my problem. When I put on the MPI lightweight rear suspension mounts it recommneded using the upper hole to mount the rear suspension (stock positon). I thought I would try the lower hole to drop the suspension and track deeper into the snow. I did this and have been running it that way ever since. Perhaps this is reducing the leverage of the shocks and allowing my suspension to flatten out easier and more than others thus causing the ratcheting with the extroverts? hum? PB
