Just a question, I have my limiter straps in the middle setting and have max preload on my center shock. I also have all of the preload off the springs in the front shocks. I ran this set up last year with my torsion spring on the middle setting for most of the season. I did set it to soft later in the season and I actually liked the ride better over the bumps. I have a few riding buddies with xtx's who have their straps pulled all the way up and run a lot of ski pressure, they swear by this claiming the handling on the trails is great. In some of your guys opininon, would this be the case? I know compression and rebound come into play also, but i figured with the straps pulled tight there would be too much ski pressure making steerting harder on tight turns and twists. I did get some ski lift on the inner ski coming out of tight turns when I would get on the gas. These other guys i ride with also run little to no weight transfer on the skid. Any input would be good as I thought I was on the right track with setup but maybe not? My track is a 1.25" and not studded.
