Mighty, I have been screwed by buying things from EBAY before and I swore I would never let it happen again, I was also told that your local Meijer's carries these things. Is this true ? If I have to spend an extra $10.00 to just go pick them up locally, I would do that. I just don't want to lose anymore money to a bad shipment through ebay.
P.S. where do you do most of your riding ? I see your from Grand Ledge.

They seem to be more expensive at automotive stores than at places like walmart!!
You can buy them on ebay for $5.00 a pair and $5.00 shipping.. but you will end up waiting up to 2 weeks to get them from the high sales sellers!

Here are some pics to try to show the difference between the two lamps. One is the stock hologen the other is a Sylvania Silverstar. Its much more evident when projected on a white wall with more spacing between the lights like on a car. But I tried!

My silverstars came in 3 days. They sure are whiter than the stockers.
Yamanator, I ride mostly from Houghton Lake north. I Have a buddy that lives in HL and one that has a place in Waters. I try to make 2-3 trips to the UP too.

I just bought another set off of ebay.. $12.00 and got them in TWO DAYS! They are 80/100watt

Welt, I would guess that your way higher than stock bulbs will work awsome! Have you tried that high of wattage before? I bought this size for this year also. hope they work well .Honk
