I wouldn't worry. It sounds like a combination of a brand new sled, tight track and low snow. Things will loosen up in a few miles and be sweet. Like the quick roostie tail though, she's got some snnnnnnap eh?

Mr.Plow we took ours out yesterday and same noise so is it normal on the 06?? Maybe but it is a different noise than i remember,my 03 never had such a noise and i ran it on similar snow, plus dry grass w/out any such noise. Now for the engine braking or lack of when clutchs go into neautral wow better grab some brakes!! This thing free rolls so much on clutch free wheeling after it down shifts all the way when slowing for a very sharp corner, cause i love the engine breaking to help slow down, but it free wheels way more than my 03 i guess i will need to do some clutching to take some out,and it wont shift out past 9300 rpms even up to 1500 feet or so wfo, time is what it needs,i am sure it will after 100 miles or so 20 miles just is not enough, and this transfer rod is way easier to adjust on trail than the old 03 rods ever were, and adjusted it so very little transfer and now i can drive it thru turns even w/crappy little carbides that came w/it..

Noise go away?
Did the noise on your Apex go away or did you find the cause? My new 06 GT does the same thing and it is anoyning as hell. I dont see anything wrong but you can see the track kind of dance as it goes around the drive sprockets. Sled has only 200 miles on it.

Well, The studs may be hitting the drivers but I think they probably hit at one time or another on most sleds. It is a constant chatter coming from the drive sprocket(s) or so it seems. It sounds like the track slapping the rails/hyfax in a constant rhythm.
