Wait until 750-1000 miles before switching to a full synthetic. I have run as low as straight 0 weight full synthetic with friction modifiers for 3 seasons now in certain applications without a single starter issue. I have ran 0w20 full synthetic with friction modifiers on the trail (closing in on 7,000 miles) without any problems as well.

was originally going with mobil one....after looking at the oil bearing tests...royal purple 0-20 for me...
