I was wondering when are you guys are doing a valve adjustments on your 03 rx1's.I know the book says at 20000 miles. But someone told me the book it based on the rx1 street bike. And the street bike dont run as hard as the snowmobile. The guy that told me this, said the first sign is when the sled gets a little hard to start when it is hot.I know when my sled it hot i need to give it a little bit of fuel just a touch and it starts up great.I think its because the sled is hot.what do you guys think.

Yep, when they get noisy (loud enough to hear with hood closed and not really paying attention), it's time. A small amount of noise is normal.

I'd say the sled motor runs harder than a crotch rocket. That's rolling on pavement, this is cranking a heavy track through snow. Lot more load to go 60mph on snow than 60mph on the highway.
