Yamaha is huge in Quebec. High power fast trails, no bumps. The 4 stroke doesn't hurt you at all there. In fact I prefer a sled with some weight to it because it makes it more stable than a light sled. This is not the land for extreme rider forward sleds. RX-1's and Apex's are everywhere. When I first started riding there it was all Thundercats, Mach Z's, XCR's and SRX's. Suspension means very little as there truly are almost no bumps. The SRX was made for Quebec. Handled like it was on rails and had almost no suspension.

I strongly suggest to anyone that is a true snowmobile enthusiast to make a trip to Quebec at least once in their life. That trail is completely representative of what you get for conditions 90% of the time. They're not all straight, but they are all smooth. It's gets to the point where when you do hit a bump you get mad!!

I was at the Brewery in Grand Marais last Sunday and I am guessing half of the 60 plus sleds parked there were Yamaha's. I have never seen that many in one spot. G.B.
