I put my permit on the bottom of my windshield, but some people put it on the top of the head light if they dont have one. I put my licence #ers on the plastic piece that goes from the gas tank to the top of the headlight.

I have mine on the sides of the airbox. Some of the models have Yamaha stickers in this spot.

I wasn't sure if the Ontario numbers would stick to the black plastic over the belt and battery, so I put mine on the rear of the tunnel on each side, cutting the decal to fit the contours of the tunnel in each spot. Looks pretty good.
Its not the proper location, but I had them there on my ol' 1990 Phazer II and the police never had an issue with them.

Hey RIGIDONE,
What did you do on the right side? Did you put the sticker right on the plastic or use a plate also?

Other side, I know a guy named Kevin owns a sign company. He can make custom license stickers that are reflective in any color you want. Charged me $20 for a pair. His email is kevin@vitalsignshop.com Tell him Tony from Kimbers sent you.

On the GT and VL the windshield works great.
