The skis are the same but the position of the mounting hole was moved on the 2012's to reduce pushing and ski lift .

I ended up going with the '11.
It's got the DuPonts on it, as well as the Tuner Skis.

The ski's are Not the same: in '11 - 8HG-F3711-OO-OO, in '12 - 8HV-F3711-OO-OO. It was supposed to be updated with a diff. keel I believe.

Same Keel. The 2011 spindle bolt hole was moved 15/16" to the rear, compared to the 2005-2010 saddle-less ski, while the 2012 spindle bolt hole was moved forward 5/8", compared to the 2011 ski. That brings the 2012 spindle bolt hole 1/8" behind the 2010 spindle bolt hole. They said darting was improved after moving the bolt hole to the rear in 2011. Now they say darting is improved after moving the bolt hole forward on the 2012 ski...just shooting in the dark until they came up with the Tuners...which are an improvement but still dart. Snowtrackers make their own cuts every time but stay off the RR tracks.
