March riding is the best when you can do it. But this year March has been great so far. I just put on 500+ miles in 2 days Sunday and Monday. It's now Thursday and finally not sore anymore!
Here's some pics of LukeSJU and I on Monday (331 miles logged that day):
Please Snow Gods, send us more cold temp and lot's of snow!!!!!!

Maybe if you live in northern Canada or Alaska! Not in the Northeast US. We have major flooding problems here right now from all the rain and snow. I prefer riding in January/February when it's cold out...sleds run better, powder instead of slush, and you know it's not going to be the "last ride."

On the plus side though, "the last ride" can be nice because you'll have 5 or 6 months to fix whatever you can bust. As opposed to "the first ride" where if you break something you can miss half the riding season...

Irv...no rain at all. Snowed all last night and all day today and it is still snowing. I just came back from camp bringing a load 10 miles up the lake. Deep powder on the lake is awesome!

yea but there is usualy a lot of snow that we can ride out plus 10c for a wile unless it rains. i am a bout 4 hrs north west of ottawa. ottawa has been prety much done since mid febuary unless it snowed that day then we got a day or so till it rained again.

The March riding is sucking pretty bad this year. Things are just so crusty I can't go anywhere without over heating and burning up slides. I've got to get myself a set of real ice-scratchers, those a-arm mounted ones aren't worth the 5 minutes it takes to but them on.

We can usually ride till the second week of may although lastyear the snow was gone late april
but we have alot more snow this year. NFLD-Nytro i have the a arm mounted scratchers they are not the best but i also have the slide mounted ones that i use when its really crusty those work very well but i have broke quite a few in reverse no trouble to forget about them lol but as you can see in this pic from lastweek we have no use for them yet
