I herd that the sly dog phazer grommets / rubbers worked good on the pilots. is this true ? and if so witch way do you mount them ? the tall part to the front or the short? thanks

When I wear out the center onces, are the shapers any advantage to me? What length (4", 6" 7.5") should I get. 6.9's on a 144" stretched RTX with cut + shimmed ZX rubbers.
They tend to push a little in loose trail conditions. The shapers make them more aggressive but don't add much if any steering effort. I would get the 7.5. But off trail try the 4in they are cheaper. For the small amount time you are on the trails the few extra dollars will be worth it.

I used the skidoo rubber stoppers which need to be rotated so that the tall side is to the rear of the ski. Read my post and go to the photobucket link for more pictures. http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=84889
