Well with out it you wouldn't know the pressure out!!! Need that info way more then say the air temp or the sleds temp for that matter. LOL

I've wondered the same thing..... Crazy, but I make fun of it with my buddies all the time. After 2 seasons with this thing, I still can't figure it out!

I beleive its INFO the ECU uses and needs, and since it is there why not make a display for it....at least i think this is the reason.
personally id much rather have a outside Thermometer!....most all of us love to know the temp outside....
i do find having a clock is soo damn handy now, very cool when meeting someone ,and riding along to keep track as to if youll make it to that trail crossing to meet buds..pretty cool.

Yes I realize the Baro is part of the fuel management. I told the wife the only reason its there is for us to talk about...LOL since they have to track it anyways they just linked it to the guage cluster as well.
the clock is teh best damn part of the sled...well maybe not the best, but its very handy.

Barometer is for the Mountain applications. RX1's were stalling at certain altitudes & Barometric pressures. FI uses it to overcome those issues.

What's really strange about the baro is I have not found it to come even close to the actual baro. I have compared it to nearby airport readings several times and it always reads way low!
I thought a thermometer and a compass would be the whip!
