Why do things need to be so difficult for team blue?
Can't someone make a simple velocity stack that seals against the outer panel, or turn up into the hood. With a nice trim plate, frog skin, of coarse.
Come on venders! Yes, charge me $400. I really don't care!

What are those things? Did they fall into the engine compartment out of a ski-doo?

No, they are beautifully crafted for the inside of an airbox for a Polaris. But I think you get the point.
I'm not going to have an 8-in long filter sticking out of my hood.
It just sucks! This would easily prevent any air flow from being robbed to the clutches. And once it's 3D printed throw some foam in it and a nice snap-in trim piece, what do you have invested $20.

Sounds like a job for Barn Of Parts ....

I couldn't agree more, Upstater!Hold on a sec, it's probably best for me to edit the post and change the $400 to a buck & a half! Lol just in case he does! Hahaha.

Your worried too much about blocking air flow to the clutches. If your clutching is horrible and belt temps always high running on the edge then yes you do not want to hinder any air flow but besides that $60 for a pair of moflows and you have pretty close to as big as an opening as factory and actually pointed directly at the clutch. They allow alot of air in. Because they are not overly large I cut the entire area out and install the moflow. Some people drill holes but I cut the whole area out to get max flow and the area is still very strong. Forgot a towel under my hood last year and didnt realize it was there till I got home, it was blocking most of the factory screen. This was prior to the moflows as I just installed thise this summer. Rode 235 miles and no obvious difference in belt temps, I have a razorback gauge and know what it is normal for the conditions im on. Im trying a gap intake with cap this year and have zero concern about clutch heat. I think the gap intake has the potential to be very effective as long as the cap is used, without the cap im not so sure. Will be testing both ways as its only a few screws holding the cap.

The Gap ram air intake is what you are asking for. PEFI also has a nice underhood CAI.

What he really wants is a big a$$ Naca vent with a screen in his side panel feeding his air cleaner bucket that holds his air filter directly on the intake cross over tube to the turbo.
Big cushy silicone seal where the side panel meets.

Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. TD and Hurricane have these sleds well sorted out by now. Buy your go fast parts from one of them so we don’t have to read a JT Metal thread about getting beat by an 850 Turbo.

Exactly!! I must be asking for too much?
