Got Oft?
I had the WildChild and it caused a pinch on teh steering making it a little tighter to turn...especially when cold...
Oft self lubes and is well goo dfolk who sponsor this sight...cant beat that...
dont think CR sponsors here either do they?
am just sayin....

Agreed! no OFT kit was around when I was giving out money, maybe a upgrade soon.

I bought the wildchild kit when they first came out, switched to OFT last spring, and have seen the CR in person. The OFT kit is hands down the nicest. Solid machined steering blocks, oil lite bushings, ect. There really is no comparison.
cheezy? ha ha
I just used a couple of strips of aluminum on each side and drilled some holes. Moved it further forward than any of them and didn't cost a thing.
The strength is not in the bearing holder, but it the mounts to the gas tank frame. That is the weak point and were any bending / flexing occurs....
Also, considering that it flexed before anything was done.
Maybe so, but I don't trust two small little brackets. When my sled fell from 30 ft. in the air upside down last spring, I rolled it over and drove away without any damage. The wildchild and OFT kits most definitely add rigidity and I've been on Nytros with all three installed. You have to remember what you're getting in the kit too. Yours was free, and you still have the stock plastic bushings which are junk. To each his own, but I've done everything I can to make my chassis stiffer and remove flex/slop and the OFT kit did this exact thing. For the money, you cannot beat it.

OFT Racing. Check them out. Getting rid of the plastic bearing blocks makes it all the more worthwhile. My steering feels very precise and smooth now.
