will apex plastics fit a rx1

anyone switch plastis from rx1 to apex ? i have a rx1 with apex deltabox and would like to convert to the apex body if the panels match up w the mounts

I'm interested in this as well. there is a guy who has done this mod. the sled first started it's life as a RX1 then the plastics were chnaged to Firecat then to an Apex, i'm sedning you a PM

The guy you are talking about is custom john from the Custom Sled Shop in sharon ON, check out there web site it has good project pics.

I spoke to John at the Custom Sled Shop about a month ago with this very project in mind for my '06 Nytro. He informed me that everything is pretty much a bolt on. You will need the body panels, headlight/instrument cluster pod, steering gate and a gas tank.

Yeah I did it 2 yrs ago. Not a bad job just swap outs of the gate and tank. There is som issues with the gas pick ups Apex is fuel pump in tank vs 2 lines with filters on the ends for the RX.

I ended up swapping back to the RX body and left the Apex motor - I liked the lower seat and less forward position.

The tunnels and bulkheads are the same on the 2 minor geometry changes in the front suspension also.
