They come as a 121, you get whatever extension you want separately

Just picked up a ZX2 136", if you buy now I think the 121 is just a little over $1700. I'm really looking forward to riding this thing this winter...

Yup prices went way up... Keep in eye on there site they do alot of sales... They all come 121 you buy the extension which are around like 300$usd then more for the mounting plates... Also customs for shipping unless your from canada. Is it worth it, I would say yes but the price is the question in todays economy...
I've had mine for two seasons 144", not alot of miles but enough to know I wouldn't go back to the 121ec mono I had...

Are you guys all buying these directly from AD Boivin or from somewhere else?? From what I have read the ZX2 IS THE SKID for overall trail domination!! mainly because of the GForce Shocks but it sounds like this skid just flat out works!! Also are the mount kits specific for the Apex or just a general "Yamaha" mount kit?? Anyone have any pics of the ZX2 under there Apex that they can post???

Looks good Subaru2006!! Now looking at your tunnel extension is that the 136" extension or the 144"?? (heard that you can get by with a 136" extension with a 144 skid) Also have you had any clearance issues with the back of the origional tunnel? (where your coolant pipe runs across the back) Looks sweet!!

No modifications near the original tunnel and coolant crossover pipe... The extension is a144" from muffin works.. I've never had a problem but I know others on here trimmed that part a little. Not sure if the 136 works. I think through muffin works the tunnel extension lenghts are the same. Maybe those guys can chim in...

Just wondering because I know they are 8" back wheels (on the ZX2)and some guys have had the track hit the back of the tunnel. Had my rail extensions on my ProJUNKtive CK skid bend my rails(rails couldn't take the added stress) and my studs did a number on the back of the tunnel. Have custom one-piece billet rails from Muffinworks on it now and I know I was able to bottom it out once this riding season and it hit again.

OK guys I just got a lead on a used Expert X 121" skid that has 2500 miles on it and has had all the brass bushings replaced this year. Price is $700 Here is my thinking---More than likely It will get a total refurb by me before I mount it up anyway + that leaves me some extra $$$ to have it all powdercoated and have Hygear Suspension work there majic on the shocks. So what do ya think----Should I jump on it???

For that price, if you want an after market Ad Boivin skid, yes. Just do it says the consensus here on TY I believe. There is plenty of good reports on Expert X and ZX2 skids to not doubt they are good. If I ever gave up on the Mono I'd think about a ZX2 myself (there was a point where I wanted to do that, but changed my mind). They seem really nice.
