Windshield Bag for MP?

Hello gang. I recently purchased a 2008 Venture MP and i'm looking to buying a windshield bag for it, but can't seem to find one. The dealer here said it's no longer available for those models MP or lite, and i can't seem to find them anywhere (amazon.ca nor ebay) . Is there an alternative windshield bag that will fit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Roger,

Seeing that this one has not seen a response in 24 hours I thought I'd chime in. First, welcome to TY. There is an amazing amount of useful info in this section that will address most anything that might come up on your MP. As the mods say ... search is your friend.

Regards the wind shield bag I know nothing, have never seen or heard of such a beast for the MP. But you got me thinking because I take a fair bit of gear with me whenever I'm out and there is a lot of space out front. Next time I'm in town I'm going to take a look at those larger fanny packs that skiers use. I could either cut off the belt to make it a dedicated W/S bag or leave the straps on to make it multi-purpose(pun intended) and wear it as intended when I leave the sled, either to go exploring on foot or when I'm walking home which hasn't happened yet but I have been rescued a few times. Twice stuck in overflow and once through the ice at the shoreline.

Hi Roger, My wife rides a 2014 Venture MP. Although she does not have a windshield bag, she has found this "tank bag" very useful for her needs. It holds all the extra little things she likes to carry and is a very handy map holder. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but it's another option if all else fails.

I too have never heard or seen a W/S bag specific for the MP/VL.

Plunking that number into Google, I got this page that also says it fits the Phazer.

And that didn't help since looking for a bag for Phazers also netted nothing on Yamaha Canada and USA sites. No luck on eBay neither. I figure it was dropped because of low sales.

I finally found one... yes! I found it at the Timmins yamaha dealer in Ontario. The part is discontinued. If someone has too look for one. You may have to check dealer to dealer to see if they have them in their stock. Thanks for the help gang.
