is the apex windshield bag big enough to stuff a boondocker box (4.3" x 2.7" x 1") in? also, does it use the dash screws to hold it in place? thanks!

The Yamaha bag uses 2 of the windshield screws. As far as being big enough for a Boondocker box, I don't have one (Boondocker) so I wouldn't know.

I just did a quick measurement of mine. A 4.3"x2.7"x1" box should fit fine with lots of room to spare.
The windshield bag is an oddball shape but in general the width varies from about 4" to 12" at the top, the depth varies from 2"at the edges to 12" in the center and the "height" varies from about 3" to 5" (3" at the zippered opening).
It also looks like it would fit in the new Apex handlebar pad within the storage pouch. It would pretty much fill it up though.

bag
I find that no matter what, my windshield bag blocks the upper part of the display and there is nothing you can do about it. I always have to lift it up to see the small part of the display that shows the errorcode and such.
The boondocker box will be an ugly fit.

You have it upside down. Turn it over. Zipper starts on left side. It doesn't block anything.

All I can tell you is, if you put your keys for the truck in there and forget to zip it closed they are still there after a day of riding.
Thank god.

Re: bag
I had the same problem.
...sooo, I removed mine, turned it over and resecured it. Now it leans towards the windshield and NO MORE blocking my guages!
