Windshields out of stock ?

Whats going on ? I had ordered another windshiled like the one i broke and it seems yamaha doesnt have any in stock ? Also i tried for a low chrome one and the same thing . My dealer said i would have to wait until fall when the new accessories book comes out . Also My decal is back order and my rear exaust cap . One thing about cat and brp and polaris in the pass they always carried tons of accessories even for older machines. Had the same problem with the viper but i still love my Apex.. I guess i will just paint the inside of my stock windshield black for now .

No, it is the stock one and it is in perfect condition.

I have the stock one from the 2007 apex Gt its clear on top and chrome bellow. Im looking for one that smashed up. I have option on one already. Thanks..
I did take the stock one and painted it flat black on the inside.
It looks good ! Look at the pics ! I didnt have it screwed in because most of them broke i think when i went over the machine my feet rip it off. Im still waiting fro a rubber gormet and the screws. Something is wrong that i still dont have them i ordered them 10 days ago and also a decal thats back order and im also still waiting fro the cap that goes on the rear exaust.

I am looking for the stock windshield off the new Apex LTX GT, blue, white and black on the bottom and clear top. Anyone have one laying around or have a take off??

Here is my stock '07 Apex GT windshield in perfect condition.

It has a valid MN trail permit good until 2010. PM me if interested.

Check your PM, I have a BAND NEW never installed low chrome and decals available...

Quebec#1 what did you paint the inside of your shield with? Krylon? Did you rough it with steel wool or just paint it? Looks good by the way!

I have 2 stock low chrome ones , they chrome keeps peeling around the screw holes . I am running the mid thats in the top pic now , blocks alot more wind and doesnt look to awful .

Im going to pick up a used one like i had on the machine but it has the reverse colors Chrome on top and black bellow.
I would not sand the inside of the windshiled just clean it and make sure all wax is off it. I heated up the inside with a hair dryer and painted gave it 3 light coats of flat black paint that i had in the garage nothing special.
I did it on my polaris a few years back and it never cracked or peeled. Just give it a few light coats.
