Removed my DX windshield today and installed medium windshield with mirrors.
Had to remove the hand guards as they would hit the new windshield.

Medium with mirrors.

They both are very close to being the same height.

Looking good. I wanted that windshield but had to settle for the medium sport because sled wouldn’t fit in my trailer with medium shield.
I don’t have hand guards either, I use the lightest fxr gloves and my hands were warm and toasty all season. Trick is thin gloves so the heat can go through the gloves.

Do the handguards touch even if adjusting the angle of the handlebar riser back a bit?

My handlebar riser is almost straight up and down. Didn't try moving riser back.

I agree with the light gloves. I use the fxr mountain lite. Good to -20 and then the muffs go on.

Medium looks good. I'm trying to decide between it and the med sport. Looks like they are a 2" difference.
