Anyone use wix filters on your nytro? I got a wix filter from amsoil that I cross referenced but it seems slightly longer than the yamaha one. I know it normally doesn't matter as long as it fits up right, am I correct?

wix filters are a great filter for the money...
longer is usually better (more filter area) equal quality to equal...with my apex and ulmer oil filter relo kit....I ran a fliter that was 50% longer....btw...IMHO the best filter for the money is the purolater pure one..
