Would you buy an 06 Nytro?

Yep. 08 was the year for the FX. My Nytro is an 07, I personally love mine. It has pretty good fuel economy, even if you're a throttle jockey like me, and the ergos are much better unless you have a modded RX1. It does ditch banging well, along with trail riding. I would take the stock skid over the proaction from the RX1s any day of the week. The valving is poop, but that can be changed. In your case with the Doo Doo skid it may ride pretty decent. I does like to lift the inside ski a lot when railing corners hard. The amount depends mainly how much pressure you run in the front shocks as well as the swaybar configuration. I left mine stock but I know some others swap a bigger bar in. Mine has 3,800 miles and some change and it's been awesome. I am replacing the front bushings to oil lite and replacing the exhaust donuts this season to the copper ones. Do lots of homework on them both. I will say though, the fuel injected 07-09 apex RTX is quite the machine.

The 06 Nytro is the Delta box chassis ,just like the Apex. I ride with a guy with a 09 Nytro and ya ,I know that machine and how it rides. The 06 is a different animal entirely. I don't know anyone who owns one or has ridden one ,but I can get a good price on a couple I'm looking at. One is an 06 for 4000.00 with 3300 miles on it, Was the 07 the same as the 06? Thanks .

No,it's not, its the delta box 2. The 06 nytro is the same chassis as the rx1. Look closer. The pic is in my previous post. This is an apex,deltabox 2.

Yep- The Apex and later veck models were deltabox chassis. The RS Nytro and RX Ton were the same.
