well i must say what a day!! my Attak pulled a whopping 134.5 m/p/h on GPS, I will regear and play with clutching,, this is on a long run (1.5 miles) not as fast as some of the guys here, but what we need to know this is a trail sled wth trail studs, I trail ride this machine evryday , it actuallly had 4500 miles on it,, the track is a 1 inch with extroverts,,

funny you mention that,, man if it wasnt for that i still would have it at wto, i had all the air out of the front shocks (sled was down), and i was leaning on the gas tank,, the windshield was buckling,, and my transfer right now is almost existent,( next project) but im sure that kept the front down to a exceptible level, but its a little freaky..

low boy no one ran was just us goofing off with a GPS,,,saw a machZ 1000 , guy was pretty cocky ,, but he only got 115mph, this was on a hand held GPS

Dan,

What gearing did we determine was in it now?
That sure is freaky when the windshield starts buckling...

So, it answers the concern if the engine was put together correctly, doesn't it... ;)!

At 134mph it goes pretty quick... Ha

Isn't that the truth. When you have to decide ahead of time which gauge you're going to look at, you're going fast...

Ah, good point.
Now I know why it's worth investing in a good data logger like a Racepac UDX Dash, etc. so you can focus way ahead on the trail !!!

Yep. All of my gauges (except wideband)have a recall on them, so I look at it and try to look at the tach. Sounds simple enough, but it is amazing how many times you finish a run and realize you never looked.

lakercr,
I have that issue with just stockers in the trail, trying to keep em out of the ding weeds and off the bark.

Dan,
Not to make fun of, but you should mention that you are not a small guy either so these are pretty impressive numbers for a full-out trail machine on pump fuel with rider. Also you will absolutely need to gear up because you can't add anymore weight to the clutch now, seeing you are hitting the rev limiter with the belt ready to unravel.
Justin just giggled when I told him... you made his day.

i pulled chain case off , and just in time,, im doing the update tonight and had a 24 gear,, Sudbury cycle had a 25 for me to try out,, but i want to be 100% honest on something,, its was scary fast and not something evrybody would want to try,, and has for my weight yeppers im a big guy, 240 but i think thats whay i was able to push front down
