Any one deal with a crashed viper on here? My dad banged one up pretty good this weekend. Both right a arms, hood and it looks like the whole front end is tweaked. Also the top front mount is pulled away from the chassis. Are these like the doos where you have to unrivet and bolt them back together? Does the insurance company just total them out when the front of the chassis is bent? I gotta take it in for an estimate but and trying to get a feel for what we're in for.

He's good. Happened in Ontario. Wasn't much riding in DCL this year. I only rode there 2 weekends.

I' ve been through it with state farm insurance. I have physical damage coverage with a $500 deductable. They covered it with no problem. Had the front bulkhead, right side a-arms and plastics replaced. The front end is made up of many parts it's real hard to total one out cause everything can be replaced. as long as the tunnel and suspension are ok it will get fixed and be as good as new.

polaris sledds are more tricky to rebuild cause of the bonding of the front clip they use some sort of epoxy by 3m and one way rivets thats why they are soo light but hard to get apart

So much for that. Rippled the tunnel in the right footwell. Dealer says totaled. Waiting on insurance company.

If it is only the tunnel it should not be classified as "totalled", the tunnel is not expensive in itself, alltough it takes some manhours to change it the whole tunnel.

Wasn't just the tunnel. I was saying the damage made it all the way back to the tunnel. The entire right suspension and every piece of the frame, front bumper, entire hood, rad support and other things. It was 4 pages of parts. With the labor it was over 10k to fix it.
