I seem to get wrinkles in the seat material that dont go away after riding or just sitting on the sled, seems like a small problem but when you pay this kind of money for a sled, the seat material should smooth out after riding. I did not apply any weird cleaners to the seat. any Ideas would be appreciated.
Hiya RX1 had the same prob with my 07 Apex RTX Bracebridge Yamaha covered it no problem Gary and the guys there are great to deal with was put under warranty and i had a freind put it on for me who has a upholstry shop i think thats how ya spell it LOL

The material has to be able to stretch, otherwise it would BREAK, and yes, it can take time for the material to return to its original form, particularly in the cold.

I had the same thing on my 06 GT and the dealer sent it out to be re-stretched for no charge.

I got a 07 cover for my 06 under warrantee...had to pay for install only.....the guy who installed it stretched it much tighter,so it wont crease up anymore....i just think they were too loose.

Original very creasy, replaced under warrenty.
Replacement one not much better. Replaced again under warrenty with an 07 cover.
OK now.

apex seat material
just got the sled back from my local dealer for its annual servicing Yamaha canada said they would not do a warranty claim on the seat. kinda disappointing considering its still under warranty, never had this type of seat problem with any other sled Ive owned, including my 04 rx1.
The seat material on the rx1 rebounds and the creases smooth out as soon as you get off the sled. the apex material seams too thick or not stretched properly, not sure.
