Ive ridden a Sidewinder and liked the seating position. Is an Apex or Vector with a WRP seat even close to the same feel?
I'm thinking of picking up a used Vector or Apex next season for reliabilty reasons but I prefer the Procross ergos.

The wrp seat along with a riser is the best aftermarket item you can put on a apex but it still is not like a procross. If a winder is not in the cards then the wrp is a must for the apex, day and night difference. I had a 06 with the wrp and lake effect pivot riser +5 or 6 over stock and my father has a 11 apex Se and hated when he wanted to switch, but he is my old man sooooo.

Nope! I've got an Apex with a WRP seat and I've ridden Vipers and Sidewinders. Not even close to the same ergonomics. My Nytro with a WRP seat is closer, but isn't the same ergonomics either.

it is close to the same ride height and is great on the knees and with riser is great for stand up riding. I would say it will still ride like an Apex but is way better than stock for comfort. I have both apex with WRP and rise and sidewinder. I am still torn between them...

Visually pretty close, but ergos are different. Apex steers easier, as you sit farther back, even on the gas tank, and lots more transfer than the sw, and is still a blast on most trails, but I have yet to bottom out the sidewinder, it flies flat, takes nasty stuff very well, but you are way forward when on the cowling. Much more rider input on the sw. Two different animals.Ive ridden a Sidewinder and liked the seating position. Is an Apex or Vector with a WRP seat even close to the same feel?
