I didnt want to hijack the other thread. So my 12 apex xtx seat really sucks, as many of you know. I have read through a few threads and I didnt see a clear side view picture of the seat installed does the foam come to the top of the curve in the tank. Has WRP resolved their soft foam issue? And does it still feel like your sliding forward, like the OEM seat foam. I also plan on putting the lake effect riser on. TIA

I put a WRP seat and 2 in riser on my '12 XTX last season. Just put sled in storage but will get some pics for you. I am a very tall guy, best money I spent on the sled. It did change handling by changing my riding position, front end pushed bad from the change. Pulled front limiter strap down 1 hole and played a little with spring tension in front shock of rear suspension and problem solved. I think the foam issue on their seat was a short lived mistake. I am slightly over 300 geared up and didn't feel seat foam was too soft.

Thanks for the pictures. The close up picture of the tank seat intersect is what I was most curios about. With the WRP seat do you find yourself sliding forward like OEM one.

We have a wrp seat on my dad's 11 apex. It was a huge improvement over the stock. I can jump from my sidewinder to the apex and its not a drastic difference. If you want any measurements or still need any specific pics just let me know. I'm also a WRP dealer too if you do decide to buy one.

For me, I do not slide forward but I am almost 7 foot tall, so my legs naturally keep me a little ways back. This said, I don't sit back much farther than where the hump begins. I also don't think the wrinkles toward the front of my seat are normal, more due to my weight and where I ride on the seat. As said earlier, great upgrade. Not quite as good of a seat position for me versus sidewinder, but close enough that I'll keep the cash for now and continue to enjoy my EPS.

I am 6'2" and this set up is great !
Also have the Star kit , 13mm sway bar , hyfax savers , duponts, snowtrackers, Tric ice scratchers, and heavy front skid spring .
I think this combination of upgrades make a very good sled better .
