Does anyone else hear and feel that grinding noise from the track ? Cat buddy says all cats do it but it's driving me nuts. Thought was chunk of ice but was to warms today and I just took it out of the shop.

So should it be tightened. I don't even think I'm on throttle that hard.. Definitely not ratcheting.

I believe the toe caps are hitting the track. Tighten limiter straps as much as possible and try again.

I think I may have found it. The trackingnonlynhas to be ff slightly to make it hit side of tunnel. It's been rubbing n70 km on it now

Great, FYI they make a nice antistab kit from arctic cat. I would do that before tightening limiter straps and changing ski pressure.

My brothers was making noise and kinda sounded like chain case and sure enough dealer told him to finger tighten chain and then back it off 3/4 turn instead of 1/4 turn and no more noise. Maybe that helps

My xtx makes the noise also, as previously stated I believe it is stabbing I plan to try a wheel kit.

mine made the noise as well in deep snow without pulling all that hard. I felt it was ratcheting because as soon as I would let off a little, it would stop making the noise. It didn't sound quite like the ratcheting sound or feel I'm used to hearing on my nytro before I put extrovert drivers on that sled. anyway tightened up the track and the noise is gone.

The snow isn't crazy deep at all here. 2 feet in spot at the most. I don't have to be applying power either. Adjusted track and it's still doing it. Was perfect in shop on stands now seems to be off to the other side. Grrr. I think 4 rear wheels would make it track better

If you read some of the cat 4ms you will see it is a recurring thing. Its the front of the skid hitting the windows of the track. In powder it bunches the track in front of the skid they have anti stab kit offered right from artic cat.
